God
We believe in one true God, the Creator of all things, both visible and invisible. He has revealed Himself as three distinct Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—yet remains one in essence and glory. God is eternal, infinite, sovereign, all-knowing, ever-present, all-powerful, unchanging, holy, just, righteous, merciful, and gracious.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the deity and personhood of the Holy Spirit. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, and indwells believers. Through Him, believers are baptized into the body of Christ and sealed by the Father as a guarantee of their salvation until the day of redemption. He is the divine Teacher who enlightens believers as they study God’s Word.
We believe the Holy Spirit sovereignly distributes spiritual gifts and that these gifts remain active and available to all believers today.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is God made flesh, the exact representation of the Father, who became man without ceasing to be God in order to reveal God to humanity and provide salvation.
We believe He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He is fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life, and taught truth without error. He died on the cross as a substitute for all humanity, and His sacrifice is sufficient for all who receive Him as Savior. Our justification is based on His shed blood and confirmed by His literal, bodily resurrection from the dead.
We believe that Jesus Christ ascended into heaven in His glorified body and is now seated at the right hand of God, serving as our High Priest and Advocate.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. In its original writings, it is without error, fully God-breathed, and serves as the final authority for faith and conduct. Though written by human authors with distinct styles, the Holy Spirit guided them perfectly so that what they recorded was exactly what God intended—without error or omission.
Humanity
We believe humanity was directly created by God and uniquely made in His image and likeness. Because of Adam’s sin, all people inherit a sinful nature, choose to sin, and stand guilty before God. Humanity is unable to overcome this fallen condition by its own efforts.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Through His death, Christ accomplished redemption and justification for all who believe. He bore our sins in His body and rose physically from the dead on the third day, demonstrating His victory over sin and death.
Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone. Good works and obedience are the result—not the cause—of salvation. Because of the sufficiency and perfection of Christ’s sacrifice, all who receive Him are eternally secure, preserved by God’s power and sealed in Him forever. Good works are the evidence of a transformed life, not a requirement for maintaining salvation.
The Church
We believe the Church, the Body of Christ, is a spiritual community composed of all believers in this present age. We observe believer’s baptism by immersion as a testimony of faith and identification with Christ, and the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of His death and sacrifice.
The Church exists to teach believers to obey Christ, to proclaim the gospel, and to live in a way that honors Him. We affirm the Great Commission as the Church’s primary mission. Every believer is called to share the gospel through both word and life, taking the message of God’s grace to all the world.
Angels and Demons
We believe in the existence and personality of angels, created by God to serve as His messengers and ministers.
We also believe in the reality of Satan and demons. Satan, a fallen angel, led a rebellion against God and now opposes both God and humanity. Demons are his agents in evil. Ultimately, Satan and his followers will be judged and cast into the lake of fire.
